Sabryna* and her 2 and 4-year-old daughters had been at Ruby’s Place, a place for abused women and children, before finding their apartment.

They moved in with little furniture, and what they did have, needed to be replaced. The Orinda GIVE girls got together to support this family and provided a home.

In the living room, the couch was too small for all of them and most of the other items were broken.
Sabryna likes to cook, so we wanted to give her an eat-in kitchen so she could share a meal with her girls.
The girl's beds were broken, and Sabrina wished for a bunk bed to have space for the girls to play. Of course, GG and GIVE knew we could do more!
Now, the living room is open and warm, the family has a place to sit and relax and plenty of space to read and even watch television.
Sabryna and her daughters can eat together and share stories at family dinner time at their new table.
Bunk beds give the girls more play space. With decorative bedding and pillows, this is a comfortable sleep space for years to come!
The girls now have a desk, a dresser, and fun accessories to play dress up. Dream big, little girls!
