Project Leaders organize Gatherings in their community by bringing together volunteers, household items, and local support to help families transition into fully furnished homes.

No. We provide guidance, training, and ongoing support. The most important qualities are organization, initiative, and a passion for helping families.
Most Project Leaders organize one Gathering per month. The time commitment varies, but many leaders spend a few hours each week coordinating volunteers, donations, and event logistics.

We provide training, proven processes, access to furniture and household items, event guidance, and ongoing support to help you successfully lead Gatherings in your community.

No. Many Project Leaders work directly with donated items, community partners, and Grateful Gatherings resources. We’ll help determine what setup works best for your chapter.

Absolutely. Chapters can be built around cities, schools, businesses, congregations, civic groups, and other communities that want to make a difference.

Today, Grateful Gatherings has active chapters serving Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties.
