The kindness and generosity of our community never ceases to amaze us! At the end of November we asked our community to participate in our Adopt-A-Family program and within a few days all 26 families were adopted. Each family made a wish lists and our community answered. Gifts were wrapped and delivered, cookies were baked, stockings were stuffed and even a few Christmas trees were delivered.

A few families on the list were waiting to be helped by Grateful Gatherings and needed almost all the basics for their home. These families needed so much more than Christmas gifts. They needed beds, tables, couches and all of the makings of a real home. A very big thank you to those who volunteered to hold “mini-gatherings” and gathered friends, family, and co-workers to help.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who went the extra mile to bring joy to others this holiday season. It’s gratifying to know your hearts are big, your energy to help others is seemingly endless and your generosity is beyond humbling.
